{"id":239,"date":"2017-05-31T21:26:15","date_gmt":"2017-05-31T21:26:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/expressexpense.com\/blog\/?p=239"},"modified":"2020-02-19T23:31:49","modified_gmt":"2020-02-19T23:31:49","slug":"going-global-internationalizing-our-website","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/expressexpense.com\/blog\/2017\/05\/going-global-internationalizing-our-website\/","title":{"rendered":"Going Global:  Internationalizing our Website"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve recently launched a new multilingual version of our website to allow users from across the globe to access our tools.<\/p>\n<p>We now support Spanish, French, Hindi, Portuguese and Chinese (Simplified). \u00a0Receipts can be made in any of these languages. \u00a0Our website has been internationalized to support users who want to use our website in these languages and create receipts in these languages.<\/p>\n<p>Receipts now have several new features that are configurable from the receipt creation interface. \u00a0Tax types are now supported: \u00a0VAT, SALES TAX, SERVICE and no Tax. \u00a0There is also the option to change your Currency of your receipt to one of the following: \u00a0US Dollar, British Pound, Chinese Yuan, Euro, Singapore Dollar, India Rupee. \u00a0We also provide the ability to change the currency separator from a US-style period to a EURO-style comma. \u00a0Very helpful for the rest of the world trying to make receipts in their own language and format!<\/p>\n<p>Our international strategy includes adding other languages (Japanese? \u00a0Russian?) \u00a0to enable additional users from all over the world to utilize our services. \u00a0Please let us know if you have a specific need or recommendation for a language you would like us to support.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, we&#8217;d like to hear your feedback on the translated versions of our website. \u00a0We&#8217;re not native speakers of French, Chinese, Spanish or Hindi &#8211; so please let us know if there are any issues with the translated version of our site!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve recently launched a new multilingual version of our website to allow users from across the globe to access&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":242,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_mi_skip_tracking":false,"spay_email":"","jetpack_publicize_message":""},"categories":[96],"tags":[43,42,44,41],"jetpack_featured_media_url":"https:\/\/expressexpense.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/GLOBAL-1.png","jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v14.9 -
